Profile Requirements
Candidates should have hands-on experience in shutdowns, turnarounds, or maintenance within refineries, petrochemicals or similar heavy industries. Typical Responsibilities by Trade
- QC Engineers / Inspectors: Execute ITPs, monitor fit-up and welding, perform NDT coordination, finalize punch lists and handover dossiers.
- Planning Engineers: Develop shutdown schedules, job cards and look-ahead plans; track productivity and critical paths.
- Mechanical / Instrument / Rigging Supervisors: Allocate daily tasks, ensure tool readiness, oversee work fronts, and enforce HSE rules.
- Riggers & Rigging Foremen: Sling selection, load control, lifting plan compliance and crane coordination.
- Instrument Technicians: Loop checking, calibration, termination and reinstatement activities.
- Welders (TIG & ARC – SS): Carry out welding as per WPS, maintain housekeeping and comply with safety observations.
- Fabricators: Isometric reading, marking, cutting, fit-up and support fabrication.
- Storekeepers / Valve Trackers / Coordinators: Material issuance, traceability and documentation support to keep the turnaround on schedule.
