Who Can Apply
Candidates with prior employment on EMDAD/ Sourgas/ ASAB projects in Abu Dhabi and hands-on shutdown or turnaround exposure in oil & gas facilities. Minimum 3–5 years in the relevant trade is preferred along with strong knowledge of safety, permit-to-work systems, and documentation. Immediate joiners or those available at short notice will be prioritized.
Role Expectations
Supervision & Job Performance
Foremans and JPs coordinate crews, read job packs, line up permits, verify isolation/LOTO, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure quality and safety checkpoints are met. They also record progress, clear punch items, and assist in handover for commissioning.
Rigging & Fabrication
Riggers, banksmen, and rigging foremans plan lifts, choose slings and shackles, manage signaling, and follow SWL charts. Fabricators measure, cut, fit, and tack components to drawings, maintain dimensional tolerances, and support hot work permits.
Mechanical & Valve
Mechanical fitters and valve technicians dismantle, inspect, replace gaskets and soft parts, set tolerances, and reassemble with torque control. They coordinate with QA/QC for hold points and leak tests.
Electrical & Watcher Roles
Electrical technicians handle isolation, glanding/termination, cable routing, panel works, and testing as per standards. Fire and hole watchers monitor hot work, check gas readings, maintain extinguishers, and enforce entry/exit logs in confined spaces.
